Tapioca Land Café, a boba café in Shin-Okubo is selling world’s most expensive boba: Da Hong Pao Tapioca Milk Tea.
Sold for 10,000 yen (around US$92, tax excluded) per portion, this boba is only available for limited amount only.
The boba is made of Da Hong Pao tea; a variant of oolong tea grown in the renowned tea terroir of Wuyi, China. A kilogram of this tea is said to go for over a million dollars. Crazy, isn’t it?
