Usually most of you will have Sensoji in Asakusa on your list of places to visit in Tokyo, won’t you?
Indeed, Asakusa is one of the most famous sightseeing spots of Tokyo, and today we introduce Guraku (求楽), a shop in Asakusa where you can experience making taiyaki yourself from scratch.
So let’s see what we can do at this wonderful shop!
There is a photo spot nearby the entrance. Don’t forget to snap some pictures here for the gram!
The staff will greet you and prepare all the ingredients and equipment you need to make the taiyaki.
You will be asked to watch a video showing the process of taiyaki making.
Step 1 measure the taiyaki mixture powder and sift thoroughly
Step 2 add water into the mixture and mix well
Step 3 pour the dough into a batter dispenser
Step 4 grease the taiyaki pan
