Mesmerizing lights at Winter Lights Garden!
Tokyo Dome City’s Winter Lights Garden is a must-see evening event and the theme for the 14th annual illumination is “Edo elegance-Japanese beauty.” Focusing on Japanese aesthetic and design, the illumination is created using many patterns and motifs related to Japanese traditional crafts.
This illumination features beautiful patterns of Edo Kiriko, a traditional craft of Tokyo. The patterns of Edo Kiriko that are displayed using an interactive projector change as visitors move around, just like when you turn a kaleidoscope.
With 10 meters height and 12 meters width, the illumination at this dome changes its colors simultaneously creating an overwhelmingly mesmerizing atmosphere.
The light corridor stretches as long as 140 meters. Repeating patterns sequentially, the design is inspired from those that you enjoy seeing in kaleidoscopes.
The illumination in this area is inspired by fireworks. This 100-meter long avenue is decorated with many glittering lights. In addition, a beautiful firework will shoot up in the sky when you press the front switch button.
The stunning 6-meter tall Origami Tree is made of origami cranes and balloons. An interactive projector creates the world of origami around the tree.
●Meets Port Area
「Treasure caskets filled with wagasa (Japanese-style umbrellas)」
